Meet the team

Mark has over two decades of experience in private equity, specializing in growth investment strategies in business services and information companies across the UK and Europe. Drawing on his extensive expertise and proven track record, Mark runs the firm with Leon, taking responsibility for its investment strategy, origination, strategic partnerships with management teams, portfolio value creation and investor relations. Prior to co-founding Goldenpeak, he spent 13 years as an investment professional at Inflexion, departing as a Senior Partner in 2024. He previously worked at Sovereign Capital, a leading UK buy-and-build investor, for more than five years.

Leon has over 20 years of experience in mid-market corporate advisory and M&A. Leveraging his commercial insight and established industry relationships, Leon runs the firm with Mark, taking responsibility for its investment strategy, origination, strategic partnerships with management teams, portfolio value creation and investor relations. Before co-founding Goldenpeak, he headed up European Financial Sponsors at Houlihan Lokey and was part of the firm’s Global Management Committee. Leon began his career in KPMG’s Corporate Finance business, working in Hong Kong and London, before joining Houlihan Lokey in 2018.

As an Associate, Scott works in the investment team on all aspects of origination, transactions and board representation. Prior to Goldenpeak, he worked at Jefferies on M&A transactions across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on business and financial services. He began his career at KPMG, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Orlaith is an Associate in the team, focusing on origination and investor relations. She joined Goldenpeak from PwC, where she spent six years working in M&A across its Dublin and London offices. Orlaith has worked on transactions across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on business services, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at PwC.

Tia is an Assistant to the investment team at Goldenpeak, providing office management and event support, as well as welcoming visitors to the firm. She previously worked at Hamilton Lane and Greycoat Real Estate, bringing experience across the investment and real estate sectors.

Sam is a Partner responsible for origination, deal execution and representation on portfolio company boards. He leads the firm’s investment activity across professional and technical services, partnering with management teams to drive sustainable growth. Prior to Goldenpeak, he gained over 15 years’ experience in private equity and corporate advisory. He worked at Inflexion for seven years driving transactions and portfolio growth, having previously led commercial due diligence at CIL Management Consultants. Sam qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte.

Maria is a Partner responsible for value creation at Goldenpeak, with a particular focus on top-line growth. She works with the investment team pre-deal and portfolio company boards post-acquisition. Prior to Goldenpeak, Maria worked in private equity and consulting for 18 years, across the business and information services sectors, and partnered with more than 25 portfolio companies. She headed up value creation at GTO, commercial value acceleration at Inflexion, and established the pricing and proposition team at Hg. Her career began at Simon-Kucher.

As an Associate, Tom works in the investment team on all aspects of origination, transactions and board representation. Prior to Goldenpeak, he worked in private equity and investment banking for over half a decade. This included working in the investment team at Bridgepoint, where he focused on investments across the mid-market business services and technology sectors. He began his career in investment banking at Houlihan Lokey, working on M&A transactions in technology, education and services.
