A shared vision
Mark and Leon are the founding partners of Goldenpeak. Having first met in 2012, they forged a strong and trusted partnership working on numerous deal opportunities together. Over time, their approach led to a series of successful deals and exits—experiences that now shape much of Goldenpeak’s investment strategy. Their complementary expertise and close relationship are strengthened by a growing team who share their vision and commitment.
Our brand story
Reflecting the founders' love of the outdoors, the firm's name takes inspiration from a prominent mountain in the Colorado Rockies. Like the region’s Aspen trees all connected through a single root system that shares strength and sustenance—Goldenpeak believes deeply in partnership and working together to achieve exceptional results.
Mark Williams

Mark has over 20 years of experience in private equity, specializing in growth buyout strategies in business services companies across the UK and Europe. Prior to Goldenpeak, Mark was an investment professional for 13 years at Inflexion, a London-based private equity firm, departing as a Senior Partner in 2024. Before Inflexion, Mark spent over five years at Sovereign Capital, a leading UK buy and build investor.
Leon Gillespie

Leon has nearly two decades of experience in corporate advisory and M&A. Prior to Goldenpeak, Leon was co-head of European Financial Sponsors at Houlihan Lokey and was part of the firm’s Global Management Committee. Leon started his career in the KPMG Corporate Finance business in Hong Kong, before transitioning back to London in 2012 with KPMG and joining Houlihan Lokey in 2018.

Alistair brings extensive experience in financial strategy, fund operations, tax, legal, portfolio monitoring and regulatory compliance within private equity. He has worked with several first-time funds and spent nearly a decade as Chief Financial Officer at Inflexion. Alistair trained as a Chartered Accountant at PwC, where he spent seven years in the firm’s growing business department.

Andreas has more than 12 years’ private equity and corporate advisory experience in the business services, financial services and technology sectors. He was an Investment Director at Inflexion for eight years, investing in mid-market businesses, and prior to that worked at Fenchurch Advisory Partners. His career began in the Services M&A team at PwC.

Anna joins Goldenpeak with over 12 years of experience as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant in the financial services industry. Most recently, she supported Managing Directors in the M&A group at Houlihan Lokey. Prior to that, she worked closely with the Head of Sustainability at Canaccord Genuity and the Founders of Bluefield Partners.

Tom is an Associate in the team. Before joining Goldenpeak, he worked as an Associate at Bridgepoint, where he focused on investments across the mid-market business services and technology sectors. He began his career in investment banking at Houlihan Lokey, working on M&A transactions in technology, education and services.
