Goldenpeak announces Alistair Hamilton as Chief Financial Officer

Goldenpeak is pleased to announce the appointment of Alistair Hamilton as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Alistair joins founders and managing partners Mark Williams and Leon Gillespie at the private equity firm, which specialises in high-growth B2B services.

Bringing a wealth of experience, Alistair’s leadership in financial strategy and operations will contribute to the overall running of Goldenpeak and help the firm to grow.

Alistair has most recently helped several first-time funds, having previously been CFO at the private equity firm Inflexion–a role he held for eight years. Prior to that he was a Portfolio Manager, Financial Controller and took on a board representative role at Inflexion. Alistair trained as a Chartered Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and built his career at the firm for seven years.

“We are delighted to welcome Alistair to the team,” said Mark Williams. “His proven track record and expertise will help guide our strategy and we look forward to the significant contributions Alistair will make.”

Leon Gillespie added, “This is an important hire for Goldenpeak, as we are currently expanding our team and setting up office space in London. Alistair played an instrumental role in the closing of Goldenpeak Fund I and we are pleased that he is joining us as CFO.”

Alistair will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of Goldenpeak, leading on funds, tax, legal, portfolio monitoring and compliance.
